The Shinjinbukan Foundation provides a public service through the following community programs:

The Shinjinbukan New York Shibu Dōjō

An educational service and unique cultural experience: traditional Okinawan Karate based on the teachings of the Shinjinbukan School in Okinawa, Japan.  All lessons are given at our Dōjō, which is a training room or hall used for Martial Arts.  Therefore, our Dōjō's proper name is the Shinjinbukan New York Shibu Dōjō, which operates as a private Dōjō and NOT as a commercial for-profit entity.    MORE INFORMATION

Shōrin Ryū New York

A community program offering affordable Martial Arts classes for all ages, by providing scholarship awards at the Shinjinbukan New York Shibu Dōjō, based on the financial needs of the students and their families.  An application process is required for all applicants.    MORE INFORMATION
